"Jesus, The Solution To Our Main Problem" (April 1, 2013)
God understands man. He knows his greatest need. So, God designed a plan that would fully satisfy the demands of divine justice and restore imperfect, sinful man to a right relationship with his creator. Jesus accomplished just that by His coming to earth.

The Gospel says Jesus came especially for you. Jesus said, "The son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many" (Matthew 20:28). Christ made Himself available to anyone and everyone. He cared for all! "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believed in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). First He died for you. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this; "while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Jesus arose from the dead for you. The apostle Paul wrote; "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures" (1 John 15:3-4). Furthermore, "He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to live for our justification" (Romans 4:25).

The risen Christ stands ready to help you. "Christ Jesus, who died - more than that, who was raised to life - is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us" (Romans 8:34) The writer of Hebrews gave us the following; "Because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore, He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them" (Hebrews 7:24-25).

He calls today for you. Whoever you are, today is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). Jesus said; "I tell the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life: (John 5:24). "Behold, I stand at the door knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me" (Revelations 3:20). If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved" (Romans 10:9-10).
